Effective Listening Listening is an active and dynamic process. Every person in the organization must process oral communication well to operate at maximum potential. Effective listening is an acquired skill with many personal and professional benefits. The workshop will enable the participant to: Understand the three types of listening; Identify individual, group and/or organizational listening problems; Recognize and overcome barriers to listening; Become aware of feedback and how to obtain it; Build and maintain his or her newly acquired skill; Listen more productively, communicate more effectively.
